At TeamLab Botanical Garden Osaka, a nighttime open-air museum by TeamLab permanently installed in the Nagai Botanical Garden in Osaka City, nemophila flowers will appear in the darkness of the night from April 8th (Sat), and the new work ``Life is Darkness'' will be displayed. "Nemophila" will be exhibited for a limited time at the approximately 2,000 square meter Life Garden.

Nemophila glows even more intensely and makes a sound when people stop nearby. The brilliance then spreads to the surrounding nemophila, continuing to emit tones.
The exhibition period is from April 8th (Sat) to May 7th (Sun), and the best time to see it is expected to be around mid-April. The exhibition period may change depending on the flowering situation, etc., so please check the official website for the latest information before visiting.

Since opening in July 2022, teamLab Botanical Garden Osaka has seen an increase in the number of foreign visitors to Japan, and in March 2023, foreign visitors accounted for approximately 40% of the visitors. Due to an increase in visitors from within and outside of Osaka city limits, the Nagai Botanical Garden, the venue for the event, will reach 1 million annual visitors in 2022, including day and night visits. This is the first time this feat has been achieved since the park opened in 1974.
The art space at teamLab Botanical Garden Osaka changes with the four seasons of the botanical garden: spring, summer, fall and winter, and we plan to continue exhibiting works that make use of seasonal plants.
