Gacharic Spin

Feel the band's current momentum with their latest album and live performance!

Gacharic Spin welcomed new members Angelina 1/3 (Mic Performer) and Yuri (Dr) in 2019, and is running through its 12th year since its formation with the latest and strongest lineup. This summer, the band was featured in a special on girl bands on the TV program "Matsuko no Shiranai Sekai," and the band has been gaining attention rapidly. We spoke to Angelina 1/3 (hereinafter referred to as Angie) and F Chopper KOGA (hereinafter referred to as KOGA).

Angie"The number of people watching the music video on YouTube has increased dramatically, and the response has been tremendous."

KOGA"All of the members feel that Gacharic Spin is in the best situation right now."

To accelerate this positive situation, the band recently released their fifth major album, "Gacharic Spin," which is their first self-produced work.

Angie"It was a lot of fun to explore my own potential and delve deeper into Gacharic Spin. The album is even more full of emotion, so I'm really pleased with it."

KOGA"Because we were more motivated than ever before, we were able to produce the album with great attention to detail while also having good discussions amongst ourselves. I think that this has only strengthened our mutual respect. I would recommend that anyone thinking of stepping into the world of Gacharic Spin listen to this album first!"

Starting with the powerful lead songs "I wish I" with its heavy and loud sound and human lyrics, and "MindSet" which expresses the band's passion through technical performances, the album is packed with messages for surviving the current times.

KOGA"Up until now, we've had a lot of songs that pull you along with saying, 'Let's cheer up!' But this time, we're able to express things like weakness and loneliness that we haven't shown before. In that sense, I think it's also an album that can empathize with everyone who listens to it. The fact that there are more songs that sing about living without even realizing it may be a result of each member facing themselves during the COVID-19 pandemic."

They are currently in the midst of their "ROCKET SPIRITS" tour, which is taking them to all 47 prefectures in Japan, in order to really convey the band's current momentum.

Angie"Even through the masks, I can see that everyone is enjoying themselves, so every time we perform live I feel like, 'I'm glad to be alive!' By the way, this tour is doing two shows a day, so it's actually '47 prefectures x 2'. It looks like it's going to be quite a workout (laughs)."

Then on January 10th next year, a live concert to celebrate Angie turning 20, "Angie's Coming of Age Ceremony - If you speak your dreams, they will come true!!" will be held at Zepp Haneda (TOKYO).

Angie"I'm really happy to have the opportunity to perform at Zepp, which has been my dream since I started making music. I hope everyone will come and see me create a legend!"

KOGA"Of course we want to give a good live performance as a band, but on this day alone I'll bring out a bit of parental instinct and go in with the feeling of, 'Angie, let's go!' (laughs)"
