Improving Our Manners

Aiming once again to be the cleanest festival in the world

In recent years, manners surrounding trash and spot-taking have been in decline.

Each decision every guest makes about their manners affects Fuji Rock Festival’s environment.

Fuji Rock Festival was created, with the support of all guests, in the aim of harmonious coexistence with nature.

Just because there are more guests each year, does not mean that a messier, less thoughtful environment is inevitable.

Each individual guest must reflect on their own manners and think about how to reduce trash and waste.

Again, let’s build a clean festival together that we can be proud of and show off to the world!

【Throwing away trash】

In each area within the venue, there will always be trashcans set up with volunteers there to help.

This year, the trash bags that you will use and the toilet paper rolls installed in the bathrooms were made from the recycled trash that last year’s guests cooperated in separating.

The things that are used inside the venue will be recycled into items that can be used again the next year.

We hope for your help and cooperation again this year.

- Separate your trash and put them in the trash cans. (If you aren’t sure about how to separate the trash, the volunteers are there to help.)

- Littering is prohibited.

【Using picnic blankets and chairs】

- Using your picnic blankets and chairs to reserve spots, or leaving them unattended is not allowed.

Please keep them with you to avoid causing trouble for other guests.

*Using chairs, etc. inside the Red Marquee tent is not allowed.

【Rules on smoking】

Walking and smoking while at the venue is not allowed. Please be mindful of the non-smoking areas, and if it is crowded, we ask that you refrain from smoking even if you are not in a non-smoking zone.

Also, we ask smokers to please be sure to carry a portable ashtray.

Non-smoking Areas: mosh pits, areas in front of each stage beginning from the sound equipment house, Kid’s Land, inside the Red Marquee tent, etc.

【Other manner related rules】

◆Using umbrellas within the venue is not allowed.

◆Please be sure to take home everything you bring in.

◆Do not bring items that will block the view of other guests, such as tarps or parasols, etc.

◆Be careful of overindulging in alcoholic beverages.

◆Moshing, crowd diving, and other dangerous activities are not allowed.

◆Please do not park along the road, or take part in activities that disturb the nearby residents.

“Look After Yourself”, “Look After Each Other”, “Respect Nature”, and in addition, freely enjoy the music and nature. This is the environment that the performers, guests, and staff members gather to create. This is what Fuji Rock Festival is.

Please be sure to read the other important notes before purchasing your tickets.
